Dragons answered with 2 quick goals 19.08 and 18.28 on the clock, three
goals in the first two min’s…….must be finals hockey. The Dragons score
2 more before Aardwolfs Lightning settled down. The second period was
even with 1 goal each Keith putting one in for Lightning. The Dragons

With the guys out shooting the Rangers by just over 2-1, it is no surprise that they won.7-3. When the refs missed the stick to Franks head and then chose to say nothing and when another player needed to perform surgery to get the stick out of Franks skate, the manager felt it was time to stick up for his team. This prompted the ref to warn him. All in all they boys played well and earned a much deserved win over the Rangers. Reported by 'Big Al' |

The boys gave it their all on Sunday, but after some real lucky goals by the White Dragons coming off the posts, it was going to be a real nail bitter all the way. The boys did there best to keep the lead but in the end the White Dragons scraped together a draw. Reported by 'Big Al' |

Once again the Aardwolfs Lightning team brought their A game, and boy they didn’t disappoint. With great passing and Rob shutting down the Phantoms shooting, the team came away with a much deserved 6-1 win for their last game before Christmas. This put them into Second equal with Aardwolfs Thunder and the Rangers going into the break. Roll on January. Reported by Big Al |

Toot toot, here comes the Lightning express. After winning the last four games the boys were on a roll and a win tonight would see them move up to second. With the shot count only three shots different it would come down to the goalies. With to of the Lightning goals scored while short handed, the guys proved that even with a man in the box they are still a team to be reckoned with. The game was hard and fast, a real joy to watch. With both teams giving it there all the Lightning overcame many penalties and two stints with only three players on the ice to win the game 5-3. Reported by Big Al |

After losing to the Silver Dragons last time in a game they should have won, the Lightning were back for revenge. With 38 shots on goal, they were making sure their goalie got a good work out. Russell was on fire the two assists and one goal. The boys passed well and applied lots on pressure to take a 4-1 much deserved win. Reported by Big Al |

After what looked to be an Aardwolf player getting checked into the boards and no call from the refs, some friends of mine, the three blind mice ask me “Isn’t this the non checking league?” And I said “Why yes it.”. So when they asked me how come the ref didn’t call that and many other calls I said “No idea.”. But with the refs dodgy calls a side I would like to say that given the amount of dodgy calls against us it is a real testament to the team and there skills. They fought hard and managed to come from behind to tie the game. Aardwolfs 5 Rangers 5. Reported by Big Al |

The White Dragons were top of the table and were not going to be easy to play. But after a win last week the guys were here to make it two in a row and disappoint they did not. With the shot count level, it was going to come down to the goalies, and Rob stepped up and preformed well to give the Aardwolfs a 7-4 win over the White Dragons. Reported by Big Al |

Veni, Vidi, Vici. That is the way the game went. The guys reminded everyone with there "A" game that they still have what it takes to win this grade even after a slow start to the season. The guys out shot, out scored and just out played the Phantoms. It was a game full of great passing and great shots with the new boy Ieading the way scoring three goals. Aardwolf Lightning taking the win 8 – 2. Reported by Big Al |

After watching
the first period and seeing the Aardwolfs outscore the Sliver Dragons over
three to one in the shot count with a goal in the dying minutes, anyone
would have thought this game was theirs. But their luck went down hill when
two unlucky goals were scored against them from some unlucky deflections off
Aardwolf players. As the game wore on the Aardwolfs beat the goalie time and
time again only to have the goal post save the day. In the end with over
five shots been deflected by the goal the Aardwolfs who had been dominating
the whole game were held out by the goal post, going down to the Silver
Dragons 2 – 1. A Big thanks to the B-Grade player who Stepped up for a game when ours could not. Where would we be with out you. Reported by Alister Gough |

| With just over a shot a minute, this game would come down to the down to the goalies. The Aardwolfs, although a little short due to Masters this weekend, came out strong and opened the scoring. With a few B-Grade players once again stepping up the game was fast, thanks guys,( you know who you are). Scotty the Aardwolfs B-Grade goalie played in the net and was looking strong, but as the first period came near the end, the Rangers found a way past the Aardwolfs defence and tied the game. The boys played hard and in the third period they scared the Rangers into taking a time-out. As the game came to a close, the boys gave it all they had but went down to the Rangers 5-3. With some of the Aardwolfs players MIA, the B-Grade was called upon to send
in reinforcements. Though some had already played a game before hand, they
were more than willing to lend a hand. For the first five minutes, the team started strong, keeping the puck in the White Dragon's end. But the Dragon's sorted themselves out in not time and began to apply the pressure. With their defensive players taking shots from the point and a fierce battle in front of the net, the dragon's finally scored. As the game wore on, and the penalty count beginning to raise, the pressure began to show as the Dragon's score again and again. In the end, the despite many shots on the Dragon's goalie, the Aardwolfs can out scoreless and the Dragon's take the win 8-0. Reported by Alistair Gough |
