Thanks to the cheering squad and to the gate people Kathy and Michael White, nice job guys it helps keep the game going. Well we are heading for the finals now and we will just have to wait and see what happens next.
All the best team                                                                                                                                "Nat the Manager."

12 March R4 Game 5 Score:

 Lightning 4

What a game! Well it always is when these 2 get together, it was goal for goal till the end.
Well we are now on our way to finals we will play the 4th placed team not sure who that is, but we will be in full form as we have been all year, well boys and girls let go and get that gold plated trophy again.         "Nat the Manager"

5 March R4 Game 4 Score:

Thunder 6

 Rangers 2

What a great game, the team played like a well oiled machine, and showed why we are number one.
Brad, Ricki and Dave getting our first goals, and Aaron and Nathan getting assists, we were looking good for a game we needed to win. Nothing too major this week, well unless you call on Kat's Hollywood, which I have to say she would have to be the best I know. Hun you need to be a stunt women!
Well good game guys, we play lightning next week and we need the win on this one as well, and after that semis, see most of you at Clive's and have a good one till Sunday.                                       Reported by 'Nat the Manager'.

26 February R4 Game 3 Score:

Thunder 3

 White Dragons 2

Well what can one say about this game, for a start Brad breaks his stick before he even starts playing.
The game moved fast and was kept that way throughout , which blew out a few cobwebs on both sides I think.
With Ross checking Andy, who played for the Dragons tonight, and Ricki getting called for hooking, we were having a lot of fun. But the best part has to come from Brad, with his breakaway and missing an open net!!!!!!!!! So he now goes in the draw for 'Best Official Goal (not). All in all a great game played by all, nice job guys we are still at the top of the table.                                                                                                                           Reported by 'Nat the Manager.'

19 February R4 Game 2 Score:

Thunder 7

 Phantoms 3

What a great game, with us only winning once against the Phantoms, it was a real big boost to us to win again. Dave got our first goal, followed by Aaron and Daniel. With Brad and Ricki and Ted all adding to the total, it was a well played game, with a fare bit of argy bargy, the win was what came out of it.
I also have to put this in and that would be the one guy how can go for mug of the year, BRAD!! When getting off in the second, he found an inside edge and went into the wall head first, with most of the place and team erupting in laughter, job well done.                                                                                                                             'Nat the Manager"

12 February R4 Game 1 Score:

Thunder 5

 Silver Dragons 4

Great game, we had two of our old team mates back Andy and Martin, they both enjoyed a great game.
Well Marty might not have with breaking his finger and all. Great goals scored by Brad, Aaron and the assists from Ricki and Kat, nice job guys. All in all we all had a great game with the defence helping out Scotty in net. Nice job Scotty looks like you have a goalie position in your future. Great game c u all next week                'Nat the Manager'

5 February R3 Game 5 Score:

Thunder 5

 Lightning 4

Great game with me and Al fixing our teams just before the puck is dropped, it was a bit of a laugh.
The game was fast flowing and well played by both teams. Brad with a hat trick, and Aaron scoring two goals was great. We were up 4-0 at the end of the second, but out of nowhere the Lighting team came back and got 4 just as quick as we tried to keep the puck off them. We got our last goal in the third and maintained that lead but wasn't easy, those Lightning guys just don't give up. Job well done guys and girl, lets keep it up.
See you all next week.                                                                                                                             'Nat the Manager'

A Big Welcome back and big hugs to Dave White so good to have you back.
This was a great game, we played well as a team this week. The first goal went out to Scotty and what a goal it was, nice job dude. Aaron, Daniel, Brad and Ricki all adding goals to our total, it was great. We skated with the team sprit I knew we had, we just had to find our footing with just coming off of a long break. Good job guys and hope to see you all there next weekend, just cause its a long weekend does not mean you can have a break . LOL

What a game we did well and held our own against the top team, and being the beginning of the season we are just trying to find our feet, we will be back in full force next week.
Just as long as we remember to play as a team and to trust each other in knowing that your team mate is skating up beside u or, skating up behind u.
TRUST... lets get that back guys.....                                                                                                Nat the manager.

A great game was had by all, short and sweet is this news as I have to get back into my wrightin stride again.                                                                    'Nat the Manager'

A BIG welcome to Daniel nice game, hope to c u back after the break. What a way to end this part of the season with a win!!! Nice job forwards and some great passing from the defence. You have all played well this season and have formed a great bond as a team, lets keep that same energy going for next year.
The goal of the match has to go to Katrina, with people all lying in front of the goal, she just lifted it over the top to put us 2 up. (again nice job little lady). We cant forget the goalie, nice game Scotty, if we should need u again bring that same determination. Thanks to Ted and Terry Hall who played and Ted hope u will be playing for us next year.
A big thanks goes to Glen, Kushla and Clive, cause we would not be where we are as a club or as a team without the hard yards theses guys put in so thank you.
This put them into Second equal with Aardwolfs Lightning and the Rangers going into the break.
Well
c u all next year in one piece I hope have a great Christmas and a large new year.             'Nat the Manager'

4 December R2 Game 5 Score:

Thunder 3

 Lightning 5

Code blue code blue, well that's the saying this week. A great game had by both teams, well done Lightning and the manager Al. This was a fast skating and sometimes a bit hard hitting game, but we sure gave what we got, and it was all take-in in the most team like fashion. Brad opened the scoring for us and was showing that even as Christmas approaches, that does not hold us back from our goal of winning our games, but this was not to be this time. With Mark and Nathan getting in on the scoring act, not to mention the rest of the team, were sure holding up their end of the bargain. Ricky sure was giving it his all at defence and with us mixing up some poisons we sure found something that would work for us.
Well guys only one game left before u can all go home and unwrap those xmas presents hope to c u all back in one piece next year merry Christmas.                                                                    Nat the Manager.

27 November R2 Game 4 Score:

Thunder 5

 Rangers 6

Wow! What a hard game, the Rangers came out fighting and the Aardwolfs pumped. With two goals for the Aardwolfs from Brad and one to Aaron in the first period, the game was on. The Rangers dominated the second period, shutting down the Aardwolfs in the neutral zone. But the Aardwolfs broke through in the third to score again. The game was very intense as both teams fought hard for possession but it was the Rangers that took the win 6-5. Close guys and Girls.                                       Reported by Natalie and Kushla

What a great game, just a little nail biting thought please don't do that again lol...
The first period was fast and frantic with some great passing and some really great shooting. This can also be said for the second and third periods, nice goals go out to Brad, Nathan, Mark, and Aaron good job guys. With some of our players getting a little ruffed up, as always we stepped up to the plate and not sunk to their level. I say a big thanks to you guys cause it's not often that you can get a sporting team to have the level of confidence that we have and hold our self's together, and not resort to dirty tactics so thanks again for making my job worth it and for making it very rewarding. A big thanks to Kushla for playing and that was one of the nicest goals, told you that lucky bird had something great in store for you, cheers babe.
Well see you all next week take care don't get hurt and a thank you to Brendon for your talk to the team that is what shows true character you have thanks again.                                            'Nat the manager'

What a great game, this team is so stepping up to the plate, and like a quote from a movie that so fits to our team        ---winners always want the puck---- and that is what this team is really going for. Some of the players really get into this frame of mind, and that's the best way to get to the finals again, keep up the great work guys.
The first period was opened with Mark scoring in the first 30 seconds, with the team seeing this it put them on a one way track to the win. Brad got a hat trick; Mark scoring 2 goals and 2 assists; and also Ricky with his 2 assists; not to mention Nathan sending 2 hard hitting goals in passed the goalie, he didn't even see them coming, nice job Nathan keep it going. The second and third periods were just as fast, the skating and the hard hitting goals came from team spirit and a hole lot of communication, and some of the best team passing I've seen in a long time. And I've been at hockey for a number of years now so you know what I'm looking at.
A BIG thanks goes out to Ted and Ange who did not look to hung over after the Aardwolfs bus trip the night before. well see u all next week                                                                               'Nat the manager'.

30 October R1 Game 5 Score:

Thunder 3

Lightning 0

What a great game with banter between both the "Team Managers " and some of the players, all in all a great game. Aaron opened the scoring for Thunder in the first period, and the team hooked on the up and coming win, (well that's what we were hoping for). With the game moving fast and both teams wanting the win, there was a bit of arggy barggy going on, but hey that's hockey. Ted showed us what a shot from the blue line looked like, with a well placed shot in the back of the net, poor goalie needed eyes in the back of the head to see that one, nice moves dude. Nathan wrapped up the scoring for us with a nice goal, but not before trying to take my head off with a wayback puck, thanks for the wake up call and for missing lol. Great game had by all Matt the coaching's looking good, I think you have now found your feet with the team and I can see you taking the team along way, hopefully to the finals. Thanks to Kush and Ted who played up from the B-Grade, good game guys. See you all next week.                                                        Reported by Nat the Manager

BRING IT ON!  WELL THAT'S WHAT WE DID TO THE RANGERS. What a game this was, we scored first which could  only help team spirit, and that is something we have a lot of. With Brad looking for his box, which he found thanks to a team mate, but his new found box became his lucky box with him scoring as many goals. Thanks keep hold of that lucky box, make sure it is lucky for you next week. The forwards were so on to it, Aaron doing a great job, that being in the right place at the right time, is like being a kid in a candy shop. The defence were on to this as well, good job Dave, hope you are feeling better. A big job well done to the new captain Mark Scott welcome aboard buddy.
Brendon was so on fire-great game bud. In the last period, I thought I was going to pass out, it was 5-5 and  that goal we so needed, came in the form of Scotty-Nice job dude. So now we are up, 6-5  and taking the win.
Myself and the other girls were in full form with the yelling, and cheering thanks. A big thanks to Ted and Ange for playing for us, what a good job well done.                                                Thanks 'Nat the Manager'

What a game that was, we came out and scored first, which can be hard against the White Dragons. We scored again, and what a goal that was Brad the man, right place right time, You and the wings were just on fire tonight.
Our second period was just as good, although we got a bit tired to the end, but we still had our hand on the pulse.
In the third period saw us get a little tired and a bit messy, but as a team we got it back on track. I can see us pulling our selves together for the rest of the season. The defence was just amazing, a big good on yah to Mark Scott, mate that was an amazing effort, and you played all weekend for the Aardwolfs Masters Team. Our guys should be looking to you to see just what it takes for us to be at the top, cause guys, that there is commitment.
Good all round game see you all next week. Thanks to Suzy and Ted for helping us draw against the top team.

Phantoms 5

Well what a very fast and hungry game that was, we played the Phantoms.
In the first period the phantoms scored first, witch gave us something to come up to, and we did, but not with a goal, but with team sprit and a hole a lot of fast skating and people wanting the puck.
The second and third period were just as fast, no goals for us this game, but we sure had our positions well covered. The defence were always where they should be, they did a good job tonight, Mark; Ross; Ted and our new little lady 'd' Katrina. Our forwards just as onto the game, with fast break away's from Brad and Nathan, and the near goal of Scotty's. He scored right on the buzzer but it was disallowed, that would have to rip your heart out. Next time buddy u go get him.
A BIG thanks to Kushla and Ted for playing for us this week, great job guys.
Well we'll go and get the next team we play, that's right, just watch for our thundered up team in red and not to mention  the snazzy dressed manager.                                                          Thanks 'Nat the Manager'

Thunder 11

Silver Dragons 1

Welcome back all and a BIG welcome to Thunders new players Ricky, Brendan and Nathan.
After a great display of teamwork, the season opener for the Aardwolfs Thunder had a win 11-1 over the Silver Dragons. A fast game that Aardwolfs Thunder never looked like losing scoring four goals of six shots in just the first period. This could have been higher if more chances were taken eg open nets, yes that's right plural, you know who you are!!!! Maybe next time ah.
It was a quiet night for Aardwolfs new goalie Brendan Hicks who gave up only one goal of seventeen shots. Another positive for the game was the B-Graders who came down to play, a big  thank you to you guys and a job well done,  you fitted in well with the team and  we'll call on you again sometime in the coming season. And last but not least, a great start for rookie Ricky Dallimore, who contributed two goals and an assist to the team score. Great game team.                                     Reported by Natalie Adams and Matt Sandford

3 April Final 2004-05 Score:

Thunder 3

White Dragons 2

We started the year off slow, but with the team forming a great bond that you only see in  overseas hockey, we sure showed the A grade teams a thing or to. What a great game we played on Sunday, the support was great from family and friends, without them where would we be, because behind every man there is a great women!!![Natalie & Kush]  The game was played with sprit and a will to win.
The White Dragons came out fighting hard and made the game go from man to man to end to end for most of the game. Nick opened the scoring in the first period two goals up already. Period two saw Thunder defending and shooting-what a tiring game I, don't think anyone thought it would turn out this way. The third period was played with same vigour, as the first and second with the White Dragons scoring their two goals.
With Aardwolfs Thunder looking tired, they still wanted this more than the Dragons did. Thunder then got their third goal [ man my heart was in my throat just from fear and excitement]. With was five minutes left on the clock each team wanted that last goal, but this was not to be, so here we go going into over time and nearly putting me in an early grave. It did not take that long before thunder scored!!!! Jesse scored off his stick deflecting off the dragons goalie and who knows what else but the Aardwolfs won. Some saw this straight away, but not me it took a while for the penny to drop then I got it, I don't think that I've ever been so sick with excitement before.
Thanks to Glen, Clive and Kush for giving me the chance to lead this team. And to the team, thank you for your support and making us the champions we know we can be, there are now people that will aspire to be like us. We as a team and club have set the bar high, so you cant blame people who want to reach that bar, and good on them. If that's what they really want they just need to find and Aardwolfs manager/captain or club president because that's how you become a champion, just join the Aardwolfs. yhaw come back now yah here,                                                                                                       Reported by Natalie Adams
