Games Report A Thunder

Score:

Thunder 11

 Phantoms 1

What a great game guys, well played.
Seven goals in the first period that must be a first for this team ever!!! and the other four as that makes the eleven that we won by hehe.
Dan and Nathan both getting hat tricks well done guys, the rest of the team getting those much needed goals as well, good numbers on the assists, just a great job all round.
Not forgetting the goal that meant the most to me and the player, Craig Armstrong-Fray, who came up to play for us. Dude great job, I know that you were loving every minute of it, it was written all over your face.
We had a well planed out game with Matty doing his coaching bit, as the manager had one too many glasses of wine and could not count how many players she had and stuffed the numbers up, on yah Nat!
Just as well she has Matty around to cover for her!!                                                   c u all next week nat.

Games Report A Lightning

Score:

Lightning 2

 White Dragons 4

This was a game with some controversy and that left many players on different sides of the fence, but it seemed everyone had their own opinions on weather or not what went down was just part of hockey or unacceptable. Upon reading the IIHF rule book I can say that there were many rules that could have been enforced including the one the refs chose. For all players who think the incident is just part of hockey will need to realize that there is a reason why in all other leagues like the NHL and the
World cup that they stop a fight when a player is on the ice and that is for the safety of the players so while fights are part of the game I think people need to realize that this fight which started on the ground was not acceptable. But enough of that, I would like to thank the guys for rushing in and helping out fellow team mate Ange even if it cost them a game misconduct, it is always good to see them help out a fellow team mate. And how about Ange, getting back on the ice straight away to show them that it will take more than a little hit to stop an Aardwolf. Special mention to Keith who just needs a couple more assists and he will have the same number of assists as goals and as penalties.                                                  Reported by "Big Al"

Games Report B Score:

Aardwolfs 4

 Dragons 3

Round two with the Dragons and the Aardwolfs were buzzing from last weeks win. With only eight players and a goalie, this was going to be a tough one. The Dragons made the Aardwolfs work hard but the Aardwolfs passing once again proved better and scored two quick goals early on. The Dragons then knuckled down and scored one of their own. The Aardwolfs score again but were getting tired and the Dragons were gaining. Both teams score again and the winner on the night was the Aardwolfs 4-3.               Reported By Kushla Proffitt

Another great game, fast passing, and strong team energy. Vince kept out some of the best shots on I've seen in a long while, dude great job sorry about the oz comment ( opps ). A big hug and hi goes out to DJ Dave he's back in town for a bit and we had the pleasure of his company, dude you have been missed.
Kush please can you finish this, I'm not well!
Sure, Kush here will the wrap! The Aardwolfs were on fire with two wins under their belt, they were looking for another. The team played their passing game, which just keeps getting better every week, keep it up guys!
Although the Aardwolfs out shot the Dragons with 36 shots on to their 24, the Dragons stole the win 4-3.
