Well what a random game,
first we have no ref's then we lose our goal, but that does not matter as
we played an amazing game. Brad was all but on fire with some outrages
saves, goals going to Nathan, Ricky, Chris and Daniel. A big thanks to
Brad for playing in goal while Rob has been away, and welcome to Brendon
Shah. Things are staring to come along now we have the right people in the
right places and as a team we are working together just like we did last
year, all the old boys and the new boys. |

Lightning 3 |
Phantoms 2 |

This week
the Lightning due to a lack of numbers for the Phantoms saw them having to
default the game to us. However one should never rest and team came out
fighting looking for a win on the board. Phantoms had acquired some all star
ring ins and the team knew it would be a long hard fought battle. The
Lightning scorched first but the Phantoms hit back to lead at the end of the
period 2-1. By the end of the second period the scores were tied and the
cracks were starting to show as the Phantoms conceded 3 penalties. As the
time ticked on in the third period the Lightning show their true skills and
applied the pressure. |

The Aardwolfs, still buzzing from last weeks win, were a little short-handed this week. They played Karen, an AB playing in A-Grade Thunder and a casual to make up the numbers, placing Martin in the net. This proved an awesome combination with the Aardwolfs blowing the Rangers away with three goals in the first period. The Rangers broke through in the second to get on the score board, but the Aardwolfs continued to control the game by out passing them, scoring two more to go 5-1 up into the third period. The magic passing of the Aardwolfs left the Rangers struggling and the Aardwolfs scoring. An awesome win for the Aardwolfs 9-2 with 40 shots on. Reported by Kushla Proffitt |

What a game that was fast intense
and not lacking in entertainment value.
It started out like any other fast
and furious game, but as we know this is hockey and things
happen, like us scoring first (hehe) and things that are icing
when there not!!! ( its ok ref we forgive u)
But hey Blake won the fight, well
two of them really,( he will be back next week) with some of the
team cheering him on and the others finding out he's a boxer,
made for a laugh. Thanks Blake u sure put a smile on some faces.
Nick scoring first and Tim and Brad
not far behind gave us our win. Not forgetting Matt's one on one
with the Rangers goalie. Matt, the puck goes in the back of the
net and not at their feet, well there's always next week, I'm
sure it will be a hat trick.
Hey guys lets keep the penalty
minutes down, some were fair others well what ever, but a big
thanks to the ref's for calling the games as fair as an ice
hockey game can unfold. See you all next week.
PS. Clive, nice contact on Jeremy,
Jeremy man keep your head up!! lol....PPS give me money!!!!!
