A big welcome to all the new Thunder team. With our first game under our belt, we have now started the season. One in which I hope we will gel as a team and go on to the finals and win that big old cup again. What a first game it was. It had it all, a hit trick by Keith, great passing, great goalkeeping and a second period defensive effort that shut the Rangers down and only allowed three shots on. It was a great game and even though the Rangers scored first the team showed that it was a dominant force to be reckoned with and it was only a matter of time before they scored and took full control of the game. With Keith going on a scoring spree and Scott stopping the shots the guys cruised to a comfortable 4-2 win.     Reported by 'Big Al'

The first game of the season is always the toughest with everyone finding their feet and this one was no exception. With the Aardwolfs, for the first time having a coach and two goalies, you'd think they had it made. But it was not to be this week, The Rangers played a defensive game and kept the Aardwolfs at nil with only 14 shots on. The Aardwolfs seeming a little lost, did their best but the Rangers took the win 1-0.
