Games Report A Thunder

Score:

Thunder 1

 White Dragons 4

Well team, probably not one of the best games, but we all do have days when things don't go as planed. Nathan dude nice goal, some good passing and skating and blocking, but we let ourselves down,  when it came to position. We all know what we are doing so lets put it into practice. Come on guys lets kick some booty!                                                                                                                Reported by Nat Adams

Games Report A Lightning

Score:

Lightning 6

 Rangers 2

After a loss against the White Dragons in a game that left a bitter taste in the mouth, the team needed to pull together and show the rest of the league that they will be the favorites to will win the grade. The forwards started well scoring early in the first period and the defense shut down any attempts the opposition  tried to shoot allowing the forwards to out shoot them 2 to 1. In the second period the Rangers tried everything to stop us, even by diving in the net. The refs awarded us a penalty shot and it was given to Keith to take the shot. As Keith skate to the net he shot and beat the goalie with ease only to hear the ding of the puck hitting the post. After some more pressure the boys sealed the game and win 6 – 2.              Reported by "Big Al"

Games Report B

Score:

Aardwolfs 3

 Phantoms 3

With a better turn out this week, the Aardwolfs were set, but wait someone's missing, the goalie-shit!
and with the Phantoms borrowing our other goalie, the Aardwolfs were left without. But the team played on, they braved the odds and put Craig Balfour out there as sixth man on the ice. Craig was awesome and the team back-checked like crazy, while Glen tried desperately to get hold of the goalie or at least some gear. The Phantoms score two goals as the Aardwolfs fought hard to defend their net. But then with two periods down, the Aardwolfs goalie gets on the ice and the they take charge, scoring two goals to tie the game 2-2. The Phantoms re-take the lead, but although the Aardwolfs were worn out, they dug deep to score one last goal to end the game in a draw 3-3.  (Brad it's your round at the pub).
