We finally made it to round two and go up against the Silver Dragons once again. Having picked up Mike permanently and also gaining Ricky back to the team, Aardwolfs Thunder came out strong. The game started fairly even with both teams scoring once and also seeing the penalty box a few times. Things then changed in the second with the Aardwolfs taking the lead after some great work from Phil and Chris. A third goal within seconds from Craig backed up by Glen saw the Aardwolfs bench cheer and the game was on. The Dragons get one back but the Aardwolfs score again with a breakaway from Jack to go 4-2 up into the third. The intensity increased with both teams determined for a win, and many penalties called. The Dragons, were not about to give up, came back again scoring two of their own and tied the game 4-4. Then Ricky tipped the scales finally finding the back of the net it make it 5-4 to the Aardwolfs. But the Dragons were not going down with out a fight and tie the game up once again making it 5-5. The Aardwolfs get called for slashing (Craig you naughty boy), but this does not faze them as they fight on. Within seconds of the call, Mike scores on his own re-taking the lead for the Aardwolfs. The Dragons call a timeout to catch their breath and make a plan but it was all in vain and the Aardwolfs take the win 6-5. Reported by Kushla - Manager

The new team to the Premier League of SNC with a team line up that took all of our defence line, and what a strong one too. This was the game to see where we would stand for the coming games. It started off well scoring two goals in the first with some great passing by all. But the second lacked the same intensity as the first with only one goal by us, to their 7 goals. We got our game back in the third and our scoring too, putting us back in the game. But late in the third, the snipers got a few more ending our chances of a win. Final score 9-6 to them. The Dragons seemed to control the game but although they had more shots on, the Aardwolfs were more accurate. Both teams score three goals a piece in the first with Hamish getting his hat trick for the Aardwolfs. Period two saw the Aardwolfs take control with Suzy scoring and Hamish getting his fourth (your shout buddy). The Dragons unable to answer, saw the Aardwolfs take the lead 5-3 into the third. The Aardwolfs on a roll, poured on the shots with most of the play at the Dragons end. The Aardwolfs score two more more thanks to Tim and although the Dragons tried a come back scoring one of their own, it was not enough and the Aardwolfs win 7-4. Reported by Kushla Player/Manager
