Playing each other is always fun and very competitive. With Lightning's goalie out of action, Toby from the Rangers filled the gap nicely. Unfortunately he never got a decent warm-up and got off to a shaky start facing 24 shots on (apparently??) in the first period alone. Thunder got four goals past him in that time from Andrew, Ted, Lance and Phil. Lightning only able to answer one, saw the score 4-1 up to Thunder going into the second. Now that Toby was warm, the game evened out with both teams having similar shots on. Only Thunder seemed to be able to find the back of the net with Craig getting one on his own and Daniel getting another. The third period saw lots of roughing and Craig and Mike clashing, this gained them both a ten minutes misconduct in the last two minutes, missing next weeks game.
