This week was a tough game, with most of the team away, we pulled our ringin’s to the max. We played fairly well and kept the scoring even with the other team, always within one point for the whole game.
With this being Lyndal's last game for the Rangers team before she heads overseas, we kept her busy keeping the shots on and every so often one went in.
In the last minutes of the game with the score tied, we placed a great shot from Janos assisted by Anton to put us in the lead. The last 2 minutes was a tough hard game to shut down the Rangers team.

Games Report A Thunder

Aardwolfs 3

Silver Dragons 2

Although short on players, the Aardwolfs came out strong. The Dragons were first to score but the Aardwolfs answered quickly with a shot from the point from Glen, the goalie never saw it coming. A second shot from Glen saw Phil and Mike find the net again to take the Aardwolfs into the second 2-1 up.
The game was on with both teams pouring on the shots and also spending plenty of time in the penalty box. with the scores unchanged, the third saw more of the same . Then Chris on a breakaway scores one for the Aardwolfs increasing their lead to 3-1. The Dragons fought back but could only manage one more and the Aardwolfs take the win 3-2. Dragons 1

After a losing streak the Aardwolfs were determined for a win. With the right lines still in the making, the Aardwolfs continue to fight for their honour. another change in the lines by the team manager after listening the feed back and the game was on. The Aardwolfs worked well together and score two goals early on to go 2-0 up into the second. The Dragons gain with a goal of their own going 2-1 into the third. Both teams continued to defend their end, holding each other at bay. But in the end, with the scores unchanged, the Aardwolfs take the win 2-1. Awesome game, finally a win.
