With so many players away due to injuries, Aardwolfs Thunder played a causal PA Player to give the team some added strength, which proved a wining combo. With their full quota of PA’s for the first time this season, they came out strong clocking up 22 shots on in just the first period. The Aardwolfs mixed up the lines a bit and all worked well, Chris and Mike with Daniel’s as centre scored their first few goals going 2-0 up into the second. the Aardwolfs continued their onslaught with more shots on and another two goals, one by Daniel with his mates cheering him on, to go 4-2 into the third. The Phantoms came back playing defensive hockey, scoring some goals of their own. But it was not enough as the Aardwolfs steam-rolled them, clocking up a 57 shot count against the Phantom goalie (that man deserves a DB). They scored five more goals with Ricky gaining two including a bouncy-bouncy goal over the goalies pads. Chris also making his hat-trick gave the Aardwolfs a win the score 9-2. Not quite double figures but with that awesome shot count maybe it should have been.                                                                  Reported by Kushla - Manager

With Craig Armstrong-Fray being graded up to straight A-Grade and a few key players away, the Aardwolfs called upon Tim from the Dragons to help them out in defence (Thanks Heaps).
The Rangers came out strong and with the Aardwolfs needing to re-group after the lose of Craig, they took advantage scoring two goals early on. The Aardwolfs then woke up and played a defensive game holding the Rangers to their two goals. Unable to score themselves, the Aardwolfs go down to the Rangers 2-0.
