| Information: | The Building is now part of the Warehouse Stationary in Papanui, the old Alpine Ice Rink started life as a roller rink and then made the transition to an ice rink initially run by two Ice Speed skaters the rink quickly became the centre of Ice Skating in Christchurch. Small by today's standards the rink kept a dedicated skating public happy and even co-existed with the Big Apple on Brougham street for a while. |
