| Information: | Emerald Pond was formed in 1917 the ornamental Lake was specifically made to be used for Ice Skating, the old Ice Rink is located in the Hororata Domain, and is currently closed due to lack of water. See the Photos Page above for a recent view. The Lake was drained in 2009 by the Hororata District Council |
