Idaburn Dam Driving over the Pig Route turn at Idaburn and go through Oturehua, Idaburn Dam is on the Left. There is a valley about I km long down to the actual dam. If the main basin isnt skatable, there is sometimes skateable ice down by the dam. Drive about I km past the Dam basin visible from the road look for a gate on your left, a 5 min walk up the hill to look down on the Dam. To your left down the dam valley the are sometimes skateable areas in the shade of the sides of the valley. |
