Hi Aardwolfs,
Great to read about the aardwolfs!
I've managed to get a job and have settled in pretty well now in Solna, just north of central Stockholm. |
|
Managed to fall in love with a wonderful woman too. Only problem is she is living in Switzerland. I'm going there over the weekend for the first time.
We will go walking up some mountain and she'll give me a lesson in bird watching .. suspect my radar will mostly be locked on one very special "bird" though =D
I hope to come over to NZ late this year, early NZ summer.
cheers,
John

Hi Aardwolfs
Nice to see the club is doing well, I've read some of the match reports.
I've improved the skating a lot this winter though I haven't found an ice hockey club I'd like to join, seems so serious everything over here. I skate on both the hockey style skates & cross country
style skates. Got a soccer fields with ice maintained 2 minutes walk from where I live. (Snow on the lakes)
It was lots of hockey talk after taking the gold medal in the Olympic games of course. Was a dream final Finland vs Sweden. Finland always get some mental thing happening & play worse against us =P
This spring I'm going into kayaking with a friend for exercise & leisure.
When I find a job I will come to NZ on holidays for tramping & catch up with everyone I know there. Hopefully it is hockey season so I can come and watch the aardwolfs.
I live at the following address at the moment:
Lundagatan 36B
117 27 Stockholm
Sweden
Oh. should tell you daddy is wearing that Aardwolf fleece jacket a lot, at the moment he is marketing the club in Argentina, my parents are there on holiday!
cheers,
John |
