Hi Fellow Ice Skaters,

We have Ice…..just not enough to skate on yet……!!!!

Welcome to the first of my Ice Reports for the 2013 season, with the snow we have had over the last few days and the weather predicted for the next week, it is highly likely there will skating on the lakes next weekend, my plan is to head up either Thursday or Friday to confirm its all go for the weekend. Likely places are Lyndon, Evelyn and possibly Ida, that’s if we can get there!!! (Reports suggest about a meter of snow on the Ida road at the moment)

Check out the reports and photos taken today on http://aardwolfsice.com/News/NIR/NIR.html they include some of the ice at Lake Georgina and Lake Evelyn and some awesome aerial shots of Lake Ida.

Remember to check our Ice Reports Page on a regular basis from now on, as I don’t always send out emails when I update the site.

If you head up that way it would be great if you could email me a report or/and photo, it makes a big difference if we can keep our Ice Reports current.
