We RECOMMEND always having a means of retrieving people who may fall through the ice.

Hi Folks,

For those of you who don’t already know, we are heading to Lake Evelyn for a skate tomorrow, the whole Lake is frozen with plenty of Ice, we had a great skate yesterday.

The road is fine for 2WD’s just drive sensibly. 
Gumboots are recommended for getting on to the Lake at the western end, because of 800-1000mm of snow and access is a little swampy.

The weather reports for Sunday indicate rain showers and North Westers………L

Remember to skate with a friend and skate safe!!!
